MHA Christopher Mitchelmore (The Straits-White Bay North) will be hosting three public meetings in the District open to the public to hear concerns, especially pertaining to health care. They will be held in St. Anthony on September 25th and Sandy Cove on September 26th. We are finalizing the location for the event in Roddickton and will be posting details as they become available.

We encourage you to share this message and invite people to attend. If you are unable to make the meeting but want a concern raised, please send via email at cmitchelmore@gov.nl.ca.

Health care remains a top priority for constituents and ranges from dental, ambulance services, dialysis, home care, long-term care, surgeons, specialists and staffing, training, diagnostics and equipment, procurement, facility delays, access to care, prescription drug program, medical travel and overall affordability issues are commonplace. We need to continue to hear your concerns, your ideas, your issues and priorities. We certainly welcome any issue you may have outside of health care concerns, whether it be the economy, jobs, education, municipal affairs, roads and infrastructure to social programming.

As the MHA for the District of the Straits- White Bay North, I continue to hold public meetings in communities and continue to work with individuals, community leaders, groups and others to find co-operative solutions.

We can!
