It was a foggy afternoon in April at Harbour Grace when my mother and I took a hike to Feather Point. The area is used by a local farmer to allow the animals to graze. We were a little early to be greeted by sheep or cattle, but we did see a gentleman who was out running his beagles. The first section of the trail was forests, the next was pasture land, to see old rock walks, the beach and the islands.
The 7.2 KM return linear walk that starts at the end of Bryant’s Cove leads you to pasture land that was used for centuries.
Enjoy your visit to Harbour Grace and the walking trails they have to offer.
