Campers are Berry Hill will enjoy a nice 2 kilometre walk around the pond within the campground and will likely encounter beavers and their dams.
The view of the Long Range Mountains is quite enjoyable as you loop around the pond. There’s a bit of fresh snow present in the spring that will retreat in summer.
It’s easy to just fall in love with the greens, blues, mountains and wildlife that you will encounter along the way. There are options for rustic cabins, tenting and camping at Berry Hill.
A great easy walk for any time of day, but be prepared with some waterproof footwear as the trail does have a few sections that may be wet and muddy.
Take in your surroundings and you may even get to see the busy beavers working and building their dams at Berry Hill Pond in Gros Morne National Park.
