Reflections in Fox Harbour

Fox Harbour is a time fishing village nestled off on its own route with Ship Harbour, branching off at Placentia. It’s much smaller in population at about 250 residents from its peak of 750 in decades gone by.

The community, reminds me of home. The houses are tucked under a gentle hill and surrounded by water. They have a dedication to those who served by the waterfront, a museum at the council office and they are very close to the former Argentia Naval Base.

You’ll drive through this community when you travel further along to find the meeting place of the Atlantic Charter signing and the Sugarloaf Trail in Ship Harbour.
