Exploring Butter Pot Hill and Pegwood Pond

A fresh powder of snow had blanketed Butter Pot Park. The trail heads are located in the park for Pegwood Pond and Butter Pot Hill.

A walk through the woods is tranquility at its best. The steps take through the forest and up a stairway gives views onward of the hills and ponds ahead.

The serenity on Pegwood Pond and along the boardwalk to Butterpot Hill was well maintained. The cairn at the top gave views all around Conception Bay.

A 7 KM trek when both are combined. A great feature for visitors and also campers at Butter Pot Provincial Park.
