Green Point Lighthouse in Port de Grave

Port de Grave Peninsula is a thriving fishing area in Newfoundland and Labrador comprising of Bareneed, Black Duck Cove Hibb’s Cove, Blow Me Down, Otterbury, Ship Cove, Pick Eyes, and Hussey’s Cove. They are home to Annual Boat Lighting at Christmas, have a Fisherman’s Museum and recently designated Green Point Lighthouse.

The Green Point Lighthouse can be a lovely walk, with simple barren lands and rocky shorelines. It’s about 2 KM return if you walk the gravel road, else you can park near the lighthouse and enjoy the surroundings.
