Gathering at Gull Pond Municipal Park

Gull Pond Municipal Park just outside Town St.Lunaire-Griquet is another place to gather. Picnic tables, fires by pond side and walks around the pond are just some of the happenings at this location on Route 436.

Caution for hikers: The 2.6 kilometre trail offers views of Gull Pond, is forested and is a quick loop. The trail could use a lot of maintenance and will likely be wet and muddy so be prepared with some good waterproof or hiking boots, instead of sneakers. Some further attention is required to really use this as a completed walking trail loop by the masses. You may want to do a small section and return or just enjoy the facilities near the water.

The community St. Lunaire-Griquet is home to Gull Pond Municipal Park, St. Brendan’s Trail, Dog Head Trail, and Camel’s Back Trail. The end of the Iceberg Trail also finishes at the Dark Tickle Company.

There’s lots to see, do and explore in this tourism town, which is your Gateway to Vinland!
