Fossils, Flowers & Rock Formations Make For Impressive Finds in Port Saunders

Fossils

PORT SAUNDERS – What a find! Fossils, flowers, beachside views and impressive rock formations make for a great walk around the trail in Town of Port Saunders. This is the section from around Rufus Guinchard Health Centre around the subdivision and back to where the demonstration forest begins.

The rock formations resemble some that can be found when walking the Point Riche Walking Trail. I could have spent hours just exploring these formations and the fossils. They resemble those found at Table Point Ecological Reserve.

From flowers, rocks, beach views, forests and some residential properties in the backdrop, there is definitely much to be explored when walking the beach and taking a scenic boardwalk trail through the subdivision in the community. If you’ve never been, add it to your trip.

Check out: Crow Head and Demonstration Forest for additional trails in Port Saunders.
